Swear on my mother's life, this is not an Onion joke or an April Fool's Effort on our part.

Oh Reince Priebus! You're leaving us so soon?

Yep, Reince is scheduled to step down as RNC Chair before inauguration day next year (Coincidence? We think not.)

The Hill reports (and really, click the link, we're not making this up. It's not an April Fool's joke, we swear!) that Carly Fiorina is on the short list to replace Reince Priebus.

Insert your own Hewlett-Packard joke here, because we're busy people.

The Hill also notes,

Retiring Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who will need a job in January, is another failed presidential candidate who's been floated for the RNC post.

Retiring? At 44 1/2? Good one, The Hill. Maybe this is your idea of an April Fool's joke?

No offense, Marco, but we really hope it's Carly. She's the perfect fit for the RNC of 2017, you betcha.
