Colbert Cheers House Sit-In

Colbert covered the sit-in in his opening monologue...

Stephen Colbert opened his show last night with coverage of the House Sit-In, which, as we noted in an earlier post, is more coverage than Sean Hannity gave (zero).

Colbert noted that the House Democrats shouted "No Bill, No Break," which almost drowned out the NRA chant of "We'll make the check out to 'Cash'!"

He also slammed Republicans for clutching their pearls over the sit-in.

"It's true, you wouldn't want the gridlock to lose it's momentum."
