After the horrible truck attack in Nice, Trump tweeted out that he was postponing his Vice Presidential pick out of respect, after it was leaked to the press that Pence was the guy.

Suddenly, Trump reversed himself and confirmed the Indy Star, who first reported Gov. Mike Pence was the choice.

I'm guessing he wanted to quell the heat he was getting by his most ardent followers for making Pence choice.

I'm wondering if he'll use an excuse that since he tweeted it, he still didn't hold a press conference?
