Trump surrogate Andy Dean became belligerent after he tried repeatedly and failed to deflect blame to everyone else for Trump's lewd sex tape and finally claimed CNN was trying to push Trump out of the election.

Trump surrogates have been the model of consistency when it comes to defending their boss' loutish behavior, since it's been a never ending project, but when Andy Dean tried to deflect their problems onto the Clinton Foundation, CNN's Poppy Harlow refused to allow him to change the subject and he got really flustered.

So flustered in fact that he tried to make believe since Trump's sex tape was over a decade ago, it didn't count and that CNN was trying to get Trump out of the election.

Throughout the segment Andy Dean unsuccessfully tried to deflect away his candidate's behavior onto the Clintons and said, "if are you this paragon of virtue for women, why does the Clinton Foundation accept millions of dollars from middle eastern countries where women are horribly abused."

Poppy said, "Are you making an equivalency what the Clinton Foundation takes for donations to in some way excusing what Donald Trump said?"

"No."

She continued, "What's the point of bringing that up? -- You think she's supporting human rights abuses?"

Dean said, "Well, she's taking money from countries that do."

Dean then decided to attack CNN and made believe he was the program director and said, "If I ran a news network, where you can you have breaking news and fancy music and say, hey the Clinton foundation is up to this, but I don't, CNN runs the network..."

Harlow replied, "Wait, I'm not going down the rabbit hole of the Clinton Foundation, because CNN has covered that extensively, as you well know."

Dean then said Trump needs to apologize again and began another defense, "Trump doesn't agree with the comments. They were very rough comments. but at the same time, while they were made 11 years ago, he was on a mic, a hot mic, that doesn't excuse it, I'm explaining he didn't realize he was being recorded, that doesn't excuse it, that's awful, but these were eleven years ago and what I'm saying..."

Poppy jumped in, "He was 59 years old."

Dean continued, "You can replace clips on Howard Stern and say it's breaking news every day for the next 31 days."

Harlow countered, "This one's different. It's not just vulgar, it's not just insulting, it's sexually aggressive and predatory."

Dean then went into blaming CNN for trying to push Trump to step down and Poppy said, "These are members of his own party."

Dean tried harder, "This is part of our democratic system, 14 million people over a year long process went to the polls. he won thirty eight states and you're saying we should forego the democratic process?"

Harlow replied, "I'm not saying that at all.

Dean, "That's what's being reported today. That Trump voters are these troglodyte, cage dwellers."

"Who is saying that?"

"I think CNN is insinuating that when you're calling for what is amounting for him to step down."

"No one here is asking him to step down. It's his own party members, Andy, his own party members are the ones."

"The elite establishment who have never liked him."

"It's news!"

"But there's a whole other side of Hillary Clinton that isn't being covered."

The idea that Trump said horrific things to Howard Stern is correct and very disturbing, but he knew he was on air and he let it fly.

What he said to Billy Bush was much more disgusting and disturbing and painted him as a true sexual predator.

CNN's Poppy Harlow did a very good job in not allowing Dean to take over the segment and paint everyone else with the Trump brush.
