It would appear so for Sen. Ted Cruz.
After he got his clock cleaned in the 2016 Republican presidential primaries and his family repeatedly smeared by Donald Trump, Sen. Cruz was out there phone banking for the Trump/Pence ticket.
"Hi, this is Ted Cruz calling. I was calling to encourage you to come out and vote on election day. This election is critical for the direction of our country and I urge you to come out and support freedom, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights."
How embarrassing for the darling of the conservative party, to be relegated to making phone calls urging voters to come out and vote for .....freedom!
Wonder what the Trump staffers think of Cruz sitting at their phone bank, using their phones, and mentioning his name without mentioning Trump's name, at all?
