American White Male Terrorism: Two Cops Killed In Des Moines Ambush Attack
November 2, 2016

Scott Michael Greene, a 46-year old white man, was arrested this morning without incident for allegedly shooting and killing two Des Moines, Iowa police officers by ambush.

Des Moines Register reports:

Two metro-area police officers were shot and killed in apparent "ambush style" attacks early Wednesday.

The suspect, Scott Michael Greene, has been taken into custody, according to Urbandale police spokesman Sgt. Chad Underwood.

Police from the Urbandale and Des Moines Police departments responded to reports of gunfire about 1:06 a.m. at the intersection of 70th Street and Aurora Avenue in Urbandale. The first officers arriving on the scene found an Urbandale officer shot. At about 1:26 a.m., a Des Moines police officer was shot and killed while responding to the scene where the Urbandale officer was shot.

The Clinton campaign cancelled a planned GOTV event in Des Moines today with Tim Kaine and Bill Clinton, extending condolences to all.

Rudy Giuliani rushed out a press release condemning the shootings, and mourning the lack of respect for law and order in the land.

This, along with the mug shot above, might be relevant to why the press is remaining relatively silent on this tragedy.

My heart and condolences go out to the family and friends of those police officers, but I do have to wonder when it will be the right time to talk about guns and some reasonable measures to keep them out of the hands of people like Mr. Greene?
