Our greatest work lies ahead and we must start on it today. We have two years to take Congress away from this short-fingered vulgarian and his enablers and four years to restore our democracy. We have more at stake than just one man and one election.
If you have friends, family, or neighbors who have been singled out by the Alt-right, remind them that this is still their country. Hugs are encouraged.
We’ve said all along that Donald Trump is not a symptom, he is the Republican Party. He won the election, so for better or worse, he represents the will of We the People.
It’s tempting to point fingers, and while that might feel good, as my great friend Beth says: don’t get even, get organized.
