'Treason!': Activist Throws Russian Flags At Trump And McConnell In Senate Hallway

Ryan Clayton posed as a journalist to have the opportunity to point out what's really important.

As Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell strode down the hall toward today's Republican Caucus luncheon, they were greeted by the usual press scrum shouting questions at them, mostly about Senator Bob Corker.

Then, from the side, a flurry of Russian flags flew through the air at both of them before Ryan Clayton began to shout.

"Why are they talking about tax cuts when they should be talking about treason?," he shouted. "This president conspired with agents of the Russian government to steal an election. We should be talking about TREASON in Congress, not about tax cuts!"

When asked his name while police were taking him down to the floor and arresting him, he identified himself as Ryan Clayton from Americans Take Action. He apparently was able to infiltrate the press pool in order to gain access to the procession into the area where Senators were gathering to discuss how best to reward their billionaires.

For her part, Kasie Hunt seemed quite shaken, going on about protocol and the like, as if she was about to witness an ISIS attack or something. If protocol is her concern, she should have that horrified look every single day she has to cover the travesty occupying the White House.

Clayton is right. Republicans are talking about tax cuts instead of how our election was compromised and likely stolen, whether through voter suppression, Russian interference, or other means.

Good job putting the focus where it needed to be.
