CNN's Jim Acosta: Trump's Press Conference Sounded 'Like A Pity Party'

Nailed it, Jim Acosta. It was. It was also a self-indulgent temper tantrum.

CNN reporter Jim Acosta shrugged off Donald Trump's temper tantrum thrown at today's post-midterm press conference, telling his colleagues, "When they go low, we keep doing our jobs."

He also said that the whole press conference sounded like a "pity party," especially the part where Trump whined about defeated Republican House incumbents not embracing him enough.

“I was struck by the fact that the president we thought was going to come in there and do this victory lap, it sounded very much like a pity party, the way he was talking about lawmakers that wouldn’t stand by him on the GOP side in various House races," Acosta observed.

He also said that Trump seemed oblivious to the fact that the suburban voters who went for Democrats were turned off by Trump's harsh rhetoric, citing his immigration rhetoric in particular.

Donald Trump is a man-child who should be removed from office already, but kudos to Jim Acosta for putting up with him. I hope CNN pays him enough for that.
