Now listen up, people.

I could talk about some bad stuff (Who the f*ck arrests Rep. Joyce Beatty for singing in the Capitol Rotunda? How can we snuff out Joe Manchin's damn power trip to make him push for at least a carve-out for voting rights? Why does the New York Frikkin' Times spend 4,000 words and god knows how much money and time on a deep dive into racist, fascist, authoritarian-loving f*cking coffee vendors?)

I could talk about some good stuff (God, I love Trey Mancini and Cedrick Mullins, and I'm so pleased they had a great time at the All-Star Game. The psycho Kraken "Lawyers" seem to be having their asses shredded and handed back to them in taco shells. And more baseball, My Orioles will be making history with an all-female broadcast team next week against the Rays.)

But instead, because even though Facebook is Evil with a capital E, it also has this memories feature which reminded me of this video I shared nine years ago, and frankly, you all deserve to enjoy Allan Sherman.

Here's your Sunday morning line-up, according to Politico:

  • CNN “State of the Union”: Surgeon General Vivek Murthy … Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) … Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.).
  • FOX “Fox News Sunday”: Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) … Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. Panel: Karl Rove, Susan Page and Harold Ford Jr. Power Player: Masih Alinejad.
  • MSNBC “The Sunday Show”: Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) … Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio) … Cora Masters Barry … Texas state Rep. James Talarico … House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) … Michael Wolff … Robin DiAngelo … Joe Walsh.
  • CBS “Face the Nation”: Springfield, Mo., Mayor Ken McClure … Scott Gottlieb … Adm. Michael Mullen … Chris Krebs … David Becker … Jill Schlesinger … new polling with Anthony Salvanto.
  • CNN “Inside Politics”: Panel: Rachael Bade, Toluse Olorunnipa, Jackie Kucinich, Tamara Keith and Alice Stewart.

Raise your hand if you promise to show someone this Allan Sherman video. Or just rant in the comments. Either way.
