Wisconsin Representative Glenn Grothman will never known as a sharp dresser or a intellectual giant.

He proved those facts again recently when he took the floor to rant about Pride rainbow flags being flown over government buildings as well as in the Vatican and government buildings in other countries. He then questioned how the founding fathers would have felt about it:

"Do you think our forefathers would've anticipated, particularly given all the blessings our country has been given, that we would decide to fly our flag with, in essence, a sexual preference flag ... highly questionable."

Perhaps if Grothman would actually sit down and read the Constitution instead of just using it as a prop, he would realize that this country was founded on the belief that all men are created equal. Of course, since then, due to dunderheads like Grothman, it's had to be clarified to expressly women and people of color. Let's hope that Congress continues to codify these rights for all people, so that while slobs like Grothman don't like it, there's nothing they can do about it.
