UPDATE: Believe it or not, we might actually win Georgia's senate seat outright.

And we just picked up a longshot congressional seat in Colorado-08.

Any progress overnight? Let's take a look. The two big-ticket items are Arizona and Nevada, since we already know Georgia goes to a runoff election:

ARIZONA

This is the secretary of state race with MAGAt election denier Mark Finchem against Democrat Adrian Fontes:

NEVADA
Here's what Jon Ralston, acknowledged data guru of Nevada politics, has to say about Catherine Cortez Masto's race as of early this morning. As more mail ballots come in, Dems are erasing deficits from the in-person voting totals:

In the governor's race, the latest ballot dumps are closing the gap and things don't look as grim for Gov. Sisolak as it first appeared:

HOUSE CONTROL

Let me get this off my chest: The only place there was a red wave in a blue state was NY state, where we lost four seats that we shouldn't. And that was thanks to former governor and sexual harrasser Andrew Cuomo, who pushed through a constitutional amendment on redistricting that handed veto power to Republicans, and the conservative Republican judges he appointed by having them switch registration at the last minute to Democrat. So f*ck Andrew Cuomo.

In terms of ultimate control, most of the action is now in California, where we now have nine seats undecided.

And in some good news:

I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Gov.-elect Josh Shapiro will have the lower House of the state legislature to hold the Senate whack jobs like Doug Mastriano in check, and that will be very good for Pennsylvanians.

No, we still don't know if Lauren Boebert lost. Last night, she was losing by less than 100 votes.

Oh, and by the way: Some Republicans now think we need to raise the voting age to 21. HAHAHA!
