Yep, that's how long Putin said it would take to take the Russian Army to take over Ukraine. A year later, they're still trying.

Dictators do like blunt force. Why use diplomacy when you can drop bombs -- or threaten to drop nukes? That's Putin in a nutshell.

Like a Mafia boss, he takes a cut of everything. There's a lot. He has total control.

The one thing he and Trump have in common? They surround themselves with people who tell them what they want to hear. He doesn't want to hear how badly his war in Ukraine is going.

I imagine he's also furious over the international praise for President Zelenskyy:

But here's the thing. Despite his ruthlessness, despite the war crimes and atrocities committed by his troops, despite even kidnapping Ukrainian children, they keep losing. Because Ukrainians are fighting for their very existence, while Russians are fighting only for Putin and his lies.

And that's why Putin is one of our Crookie Fails of the Year.
