Fox host Rachel Campos-Duffy seemed to echo Donald Trump this morning, who lost the 2020 election 760 days ago and still insists that we should hold a new election. Campos-Duffy said that the Hunter Biden laptop nothingburger story that Matt Taibbi tweeted out on Friday evening will make people feel Trump deserves a "do-over."

And I'm not sure why because there was nothing there. Even conservatives felt completely underwhelmed.

"I don't know if this will happen, but it is a possibility that this could happen as a result of this," Campos-Duffy said. "When Republicans and even independents who voted for Donald Trump, when this all gets unpacked, as Kevin Corke talked about, over the next few weeks, maybe months, so we start to see this whole thing lay out, it is possible that people who maybe a few weeks ago were saying, you know what, let's close the book on Trump, we'll move to DeSantis. He's Trump without all the problems, right? It's possible that people will feel this injustice deserves a do-over."

That makes no sense, and neither does this:

"But seeing how he was wronged, how this election was rigged, and the injustice to anybody who voted for him, but particularly just for our democracy, and from people who claim to be caring so much about saving our democracy, it could have a political impact," she said.

The election wasn't rigged, and Fox News is complicit in this shitshow we've been forced to watch for two years by amplifying that whopper of a lie. All of the crying from Trumpers on the right isn't going to change the fact that Trump lost. He never even acted like he wanted to keep the job, to begin with.

This shouldn't even be called Hunter Biden's laptop story. It should be called Dick Pic gate.
