FOX Business host Maria Bartiromo almost fainted when she saw the latest jobs report for January, which far exceeded what was predicted by the Street.
"Blockbuster!" Bartiromo chimed.
"Holy cow, 517K jobs, the estimate was 185K"
Casone gave a breakdown of the numbers: "443,000 private sector jobs, guys, the estimates were 190,0000. That is just an incredible number here," Casone said.
I wonder if Fox News brought out the smelling salts off-camera for Maria?
Rebel yell Rick Santelli on CNBC flipped out as well.
"The numbers will be coming out shortly. We’re expecting 188 to 200,000. Wow! Wow! Whoever took the over, congratulations. 517,000! 517,000 nonfarm payrolls. A blastoff of a number!"
