Senator Ted Cruz (R-Cancun) went on Hannity's show to mewl about President Biden's proposed budget. Cruz had a long list of petty complaints about the budget - not because of the words used in it and crying that "Biden's budget is completely WOKE!"
He then prattles off a list of words that he had a staffer comb for in the budget and the number of times they appeared. These words include things like equity and climate and environmental justice. Oh, the horror!
What Cruz doesn't understand is that budget generally is a reflection of the will of the people. Most people are for things like equity, actions to control the damage being done to the planet's climate and to protect the environment. That would also be reflected in the fact that the Democrats control the Senate and the White House.
Maybe Cruz is confused and is thinking of the previous administration whose budget only was concerned about maximizing the family's grift.
Cruz did himself no favors by displaying his Onomatophobia for the world to see, but he is being triggered by words that he doesn't even understand. Can you imagine him in a debate, much less a confrontation with a hostile foreign leader? They would just have to look him in the eye and say "intersex" and he would turn into a whimpering child. Then again, that's pretty much his normal state of being anyway.
