Turning Point USA founder, Christian nationalist, and MAGA zealot Charlie Kirk proved once again why he is always up for winning the Stupidest Man Hosting a Podcast award.
Kirk's function in MAGA world is to bring in the youth vote, but his attempts have been an abject failure. Republicans lost the 18-29 vote in the 2022 midterms by almost 30 points.
In reality, he's just another far right extremist that glommed onto Trump's coattails.
His initial thoughts after watching The View respond to Tucker's firing were ignorant.
"Tucker Carlson remade the right," he said. "That is one thing I will agree with The View on."
"He was more powerful than anybody else since the death of Rush Limbaugh in reshaping the right, in moving the Overton window, in pushing forward positive narratives, in challenging Operation Mockingbird," Kirk gushed.
"And I can say this as somebody who knows Tucker very well. He did not care about the backlash," he went on, like he was a celebrity just by touching Tuckems' old bow ties.
That's ridiculous if you've been involved in politics for more than a few years. Bill O'Reilly was the most powerful voice in the history of Fox News until he got shitcanned. BillO created the space for Carlson's brand of racism (hard-core hating) to flourish.
Carlson took the spot and turned The Factor into the White Power Hour and an arm of Russia's media complex.
Kirk equated Tucker Carlson's demise with the news that Don Lemon of CNN was let go as well, as if the two events were equal. They were not.
The 10.0 earthquake in the media is that without warning, Fox News let go of their Grand Wizard of the 8PM EST hour.
However, Kirk believes there's some sort of competition between the two over their firings.
Kirk believes if he throws in a few technical terms, he will be viewed as a wonk. He's a whack.
