After reports that Manhattan's Acting Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan will issue a gag order against Trump after he's arraigned on Tuesday, Glenn Beck called the decision "insane" to rev up the anger for the MAGA cult.
Beck, the former Fox News host who apologized for his divisive actions on-air during president Obama's presidency is at it again. (Here's some of Becks most vile attacks on the left and Obama from C&L's archives.)
"It's my understanding that the judge may issue a gag order, which is insanity," Beck said "Is insanity."
"You're saying that the media can pile on and say these things, but he's not allowed to say anything and he's running for president of the United States?" Beck asked. "How is that even possible?"
"They can just continue to slander him and he can't defend himself."
Who is slandering Trump? Is it the woke mob? The Deep State? The Global cabal? The One World bank?
Trump has been denouncing the judge, the DA, Stormy Daniels, and the case with a constant stream of vitriol since the possibility rose that he could be charged.
No defendant in a criminal case is ever allowed to speak like that.
Insider reports, "If Trump violates it by speaking about the litigation outside the courtroom, he could face consequences. Punishment for criminal contempt, under New York law, is a fine not exceeding $1,000, jail for up to 30 days, or both."
Former federal prosecutor Duncan Levin also delivered bad news for the cockwobbler.
"This is a criminal case now, so the rules have changed, and the rules are no longer in his purview to make," Levin said. "He is a criminal defendant and, you know, we see hundreds of thousands of criminal defendants across the country every day who have a lot of rights stripped away from them and he is now one of them. These proceedings are going to change his life."
As usual, according to the MAGA cult and Trump supporters, the entire US legal system must be suspended only for Trump.
Rules of engagement do not apply.
Beck also withdrew his apology in 2021, to of all people, the White Power leader, Tucker Carlson.
