Things got a little awkward for former President Donald Trump when he faced questions from Irish reporters Wednesday about why he decided to go golfing in Ireland instead of attending his rape case in New York City. Don't you hate when that happens?

"Mr. Trump, why are you here instead of in New York for your civil case, please?" a reporter asked the indicted former President.

Trump, of course, didn't even come close to answering the question.

"Because we have a longstanding agreement to come here. We've had a tremendous reception, a beautiful reception," Trump said. "The people of Ireland have been great. And we have [had] tremendous success."

Note: Only one person clapped following Trump's comment. One. Person.

"But does it not show disrespect to the court?" a reporter asked, then Trump walked away.

Things are heating up for Trump at his rape trial. It's not just E. Jean Carroll.

The jury heard sexual assault allegations against Trump from a third woman on Wednesday. In addition, the New York City jury saw the "Access Hollywood" tape in which he bragged about grabbing women "by the pussy" without consent.

CNN is hosting a town hall for Trump, thus normalizing the fact that an accused rapist, who attempted a coup to overturn an election he legitimately lost is running for the presidency again. None of this is normal.
