Santos was given three hours on Friday to spew on his impending expulsion from the House and spew he did, making derogatory comments about the process and the institution, and his fellow members of Congress. Apparently, George Santos, who broke every ethical standard that exists (allegedly), feels hard done by.

When Santos is finally expelled (in early December by the look of the calendar), he'll become only the third member expelled since the Civil War.

In his most extensive public comments since the House Ethics Committee released its report, Rep. George Santos (R-NY) remained defiant, lashed out at the committee, and acknowledged that he would likely be expelled from Congress.

On an X Space hosted by Monica Matthews, Santos spoke for three hours about the Ethics Committee report released on Nov. 16 that alleged, in part, that he used funds meant to support his election to make purchases at OnlyFans, Sephora, and Hermes, get botox, and that he conspired to falsify Federal Election Commission reports.

Santos doesn't think too much of his (for now) fellow congressmen and women:

“Within the ranks of the United States Congress, there’s felons galore, there's people with all sorts of sheisty backgrounds, and all of a sudden, George Santos is the Mary Magdalene of the United States Congress,” he said. “I don't want to work with a bunch of hypocrites. It's gross. I have colleagues who are more worried about getting drunk every night with the next lobbyists that they're going to screw and pretend like none of us know what's going on and sell off the American people.”

“Not show up to vote because they're too hungover or whatever the reason is, or not show up to vote at all and just give their card out like f***ing candy for someone else to vote for them. This s**t happens every single week. Where are the ethics investigations?” he continued.

Is he bitter? Well, yeah. But he's most bitter about the chairman of the Ethics Committee, Michael Guest, calling him "a p***y.”

While he continually lashed out at the Ethics Committee, he specifically targeted the chairman of the committee, Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS), who has introduced a resolution to expel Santos based on the findings in the report.
...
“I think he should be a man and stop being a p***y,” Santos said of Guest, daring him to force a vote on the resolution.

And there you have it. Sore Loser syndrome on full display.
