Criminal defense attorney Randy Zelin blasted Eric Trump after he ranted to reporters outside a New York courtroom last week.
While attacking New York Attorney General Letitia James, Trump vowed to win the $250 million fraud case because his family hadn't "done a damn thing wrong."
Zelin responded to Trump's rant during a Newsmax appearance on Sunday.
"Do it in the courtroom," he said. "If you're so sure that you're going to win, if you haven't done a damn thing wrong, then do it in the courtroom. This abject lack of respect that people have for our system of justice, for our judges, for our prosecutors, for our quasi-prosecutors."
"Shut your mouth, keep it out of the media, show a little bit of respect, particularly if you're a last name you want to be attached to, being the most powerful person in the world," he continued. "Do it in the courtroom, and stop taking a dump over the system that you want to preside over."
Host Michael Grimm argued that James "started this whole thing and destroyed the system."
"Then vote them out of office," Zelin said. "Because two wrongs don't make a right. You have to be the bigger person."
"So shut your mouth and then let the system take over, and a prosecutor who's doing something for political gain or for personal gain, get rid of them," he added.
