In college, I stumbled upon a guitar master I had never heard of named Larry Carlton. His solo record blew my mind.

Wanting to listen to more, I discovered that he was a member of The Crusaders.

What luck.

I was beginning to study sax and flute at the time and had never heard much jazz or funk, but let me tell you, Wilton Felder blows like a motherf*cker.

This song is a classic from the era.
