Conservative stalwart and radio host Erick Erickson told CNN that Trump's obsessive renovations and love of gold are turning the White House into looking like a "French whorehouse."
CNN host Anderson Cooper led a discussion Wednesday night on Trump's construction projects alongside the breaking news that the federal debt hit a record high of $40 trillion under his watch.
Trump appears to be more focused on printing his name on every possible surface in the country while remaking everything into a golden Roman palace of excess. He's ditched ending the Iran war, and dealing with the affordability crisis he now calls a hoax.
The voting public is watching and is upset.
The Demented One's actions perturbed Erickson.
"God Almighty, I just wish he would keep doing it and stay off social media and stay out of the cameras," he said. "I would rather him focus on the renovations than, I mean, we're at $40 trillion in national debt and every time he touches it, it gets worse."
The Georgia republican was not finished.
"But for the love of God, Mr. President, if you're listening, stop letting people barf gold leaf all over the White House."
"Well, Erick, if you read Regime Change, I think there's a scene where it's actually the President who's putting on some of that gold leaf in the office," Cooper said.
Erickson interjected, "Yeah, that is true. Please, stop. It's starting to look like a French whorehouse."
That was a kind description.
The White House and his renovations are putrid.
