It seems all of Donald's Cabinet meeting naps are really starting to interfere with his bedtime, as he was yet again wide awake in the wee hours of the night, rage-posting into the ether of his Truth Social echo chamber about everything from gas prices to John Brennan.
Starting around 10 p.m. last night, Trump kicked things off with a declaration about gas prices and his predecessor: "Gas prices were much higher under Biden than under ‘TRUMP.’ So were almost all other prices."
It remains unclear as to why he put his own name in quotation marks here.

In true Trump fashion, the president is manipulating some numbers here. Make no mistake, prices have not fallen under Donald Trump. Gasoline prices have surged to astronomical heights, and the cost of a gallon of diesel has officially broken records. Yet, he's comparing himself to the beginning of Biden's inflation-heavy term, when his predecessor was stuck cleaning up the Covid-19 mess Donald Trump himself left behind in his first term.
Thanks, directly, to Donald Trump's war of choice with Iran that's now steamrolling well into its seventh month and counting, average Americans are actually struggling harder now than many of us have in our entire lifetime.
Nevertheless, Trump seemed to be good and fired up last night. Just a few hours after his gas prices post, at about 1 a.m., the president rapid-fired five posts in the span of just nine minutes, the first of which was a link to a news article about ex-CIA Director John Brennan and his role in the "grand conspiracy" about Russian collusion, spearheaded by the Democratic "deep-state" that Donald Trump still portrays himself as an innocent victim of.
Since his return to office in 2025, Trump has openly weaponized his Justice Department as a tool for retribution and revenge. As such, the DOJ has launched a wide-sweeping probe and begun to subpoena any intelligence officials who were involved in the 2017 conclusion of Trump-favored Russian interference in a United States election. The Justice Department has opened an official criminal investigation into Brennan specifically.
Just moments later, Trump turned his attention to the embattled Kennedy Center and his incessant claims that the beloved performing arts center is in a state of "disrepair," which can only be saved by his name on its wall.
The president linked to a news article that claimed, "Biden-era inspection reports expose Kennedy Center disrepair, safety hazards that Trump seeks to fix.”
After a quick 10-minute break, Trump went back to Truth Social, this time with a link about his highly controversial White House ban on CNN, MS MOW, and POLITICO.
He doubled down just minutes later with one of his trademarked AI slop photos, depicting garbage bags dumped outside the White House, emblazoned with the media outlets' names.

In his final post of the night, he claimed that Breitbart News is the only publication that covers him "fairly."
Following Trump's ban on media outlets he feels portray him negatively, reports have confirmed that none other than "human printer" Natalie Harp played a large role in that decision, after she allegedly played him a clip of MS NOW anchors "criticizing his administration."
It certainly seems to me that she should be a bit less concerned about what the media is saying and a bit more concerned about making sure the president's phone is taken away at bedtime.
