Farmers voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump and the MAGA agenda. And how does he repay them? By starting an endless and pointless war that has jacked up the price of diesel gas to over $9.00 in some parts of the country. It has gotten so bad that some farmers are paying over $75,000 a MONTH for gas!

A quote: “It’s crazy… we’re paying $75000 more per month for diesel… the economy can’t handle another year of this, or 2-3 months… I wish they’d get that (war) settled…”
Gov Jeff Landry (LA) has actually had to go so far as to declare a STATE OF EMERGENCY related to diesel gas. WAFB is reporting that the September 22nd executive order "temporarily suspends state penalties for using “dyed diesel” — untaxed, off-road fuel typically reserved for tractors, skidders and irrigation pumps — in vehicles registered for on-road use. The suspension applies specifically to vehicles registered as Class 2 (forest products) or Class 5 (farm use)."
Landry said “We’re not going to sit on the sidelines while Louisiana farmers are paying record prices to harvest the crops that feed our families and support our economy. We have an opportunity to provide immediate relief, and that’s exactly what we’re doing."
Notice that he, a Republican, is not actually saying anything about the CAUSE of these insane diesel prices. Because, MAGA.
Diesel prices in Louisiana have hit an all-time high of $6.03 per gallon.
Gosh, if only there was someone they could blame for this. Anyone?
