US District Judge Deborah Boardman bashed Trump's legal team by calling their latest attempt to undermine the US Constitution and the Supreme Court on birthright citizenship "distorted" and "completely misread" the ruling.
After being kicked in the nuts by his personal Supreme Court Justices over trying to spit on the US Constitution over birthright citizenship, Trump tried to undermine the ruling again by issuing two more moronic executive orders in early August.
"We had a very unfortunate decision in the Supreme Court concerning birthright," he whined. "It was close, but a very, very unfortunate decision."
It was the correct decision because birthright citizenship is embedded in the US Constitution.
TRUMP: So we're making adjustments because it's very unfair. This was done for a different reason.
This was done right after the Civil War. This was for the babies of slaves. And what's happening now, people are building businesses around it.
Wealthy people are building businesses around birthright citizenship. That's not the way it's supposed to work.
It's a disgrace. They're buying their way in, and we're not going to let it happen.
His ploy this time was to strip the birthright from alien enemies and mothers who fraudulently request tourist visits, tending to give birth in the US.
"No presidential executive order can undo what the Supreme Court has done," wrote Boardman. "Not surprisingly, the defendants do not cite any language from Barbara to support this distorted interpretation of the opinion, and of course there is none," Boardman wrote.
"Though defendants may not like it, the… Court's conclusion was clear."
I doubt this will stop Trump from issuing more executive orders against birthright citizenship.
At least for the time being, this lunacy is done and dusted.
