During today's presser, Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson claimed Trump was just being "creative" when he offered to bribe Americans $5000 if they voted for Republicans in the midterm and they won.
Being creative is not a justification for bribery or acting like a communist when it comes to federal interference in private enterprise.
REPORTER: Talking a lot about communism.
How is communism any different from what President Trump is doing of getting equity states intact and promising $5,000 checks to Americans and having equity in steel?
JOHNSON: So what the president is articulating, and it comes up with creative ideas all the time, he's the ideas president, and we have a hard time keeping pace with it sometimes.
He debuted at the convention, famously, the idea of basically a dividend check to Americans, right? We're processing that. I mean, we've just now gotten everybody here, and we're talking about all that.
What he's trying to articulate is the obvious truth that is demonstrable, and we can stay here all morning; we can talk to you about that.
If you want more money in your pockets, you got to keep Republicans in charge. That's what president's talking about.
Americans have less money in their pockets today than when President Biden left office. That is a fact.
Johnson lied.

Why don't you stop lying to the public to defend Trump? As an avowed Christian, how does this religious fraud break the 9th Commandment so easily?

Keeping Republicans in power will only cause further pain to the populace they are supposed to represent.
