During today's Senate Republican press conference, Sen. John Barrasso gave a perfect example of how bankrupt the Republican party is and how it's left with no other option but to throw ridiculous culture war hyperbole and nonsense at Democrats in a last gasp effort to save their majorities in the upcoming midterm elections.
Barrasso cited a Twitch streamer, claiming he speaks for the entire Democratic party while taking his words out of context, before saying that being against ICE thuggery is anti-American.
They have nothing.
BARRASSO: They want to defund the police. Defund the military and some of our colleagues here in the Senate they that is the future of their party that cannot be the future of United States of America.
So this is the choice.
The voters are going to have to choose this fall.
Is it going to be common sense Republicans, crazy Democrats, who really do seem like an anti-American hate group?
Republican chances are dwindling fast as the days tick closer to the November 3rd midterm elections so Senate Republicans are forced to act like extremists, smearing the opposing party as a hate group, while in the same breath calling themselves the common sense party.
Has Demented Donald done anything at all to make that could be considered "common sense" that has made life better for Americans?
Trump's poll numbers are so bad, the public views his actions as truly crazy.
Even if all of the claims Sen. Barrasso made were true, that would not make a political party a hate group.
The only hate group are Republicans, and they've not hid that fact one iota.
A hate group redistricts out African-Americans from winning congressional seats in predominantly black districts.
A hate group targets the gay and lesbian population.
A hate group unleashes an unaccountable force of thugs wearing black masks in unmarked cars to hijack, kidnap, and murder citizens that don't have the same skin color or last name.
A hate group wrangles all forms of diversity from the federal government while claiming white discrimination as its justification.
Is it "common sense" for Republicans to stick their head in the sand while their demented leader attacked a Middle Eastern country in the dead of night that did not attack us so he can stay in the forefront of news cycles?
Is it common sense for Republicans to applaud the same demented leader for levying illegal tariffs on our foreign trade partners that turns into a tax on US customers?
Is it common sense for Republicans to defend the criminal actions of a presidential family enriching itself off the presidency?
Is it common sense for Republicans to allow their leader to destroy all of Washington DC, in an effort to rename every building and monument to himself?
Is it common sense for Republicans to kick off millions of people from receiving ACA subsides, Medicaid, and SNAP programs to give the very wealthy tax cuts?
Is it common sense to confirm the unqualified buffoons named Todd Blanche, Pete Hegseth, RFK Jr and Dr. Oz to run the DOJ, the military, HHS and Medicare?
I could go on.
The only common sense thing to do is for voters to kick out Republicans who claim affordability is a hoax and bombing Iran was justified.
