It's only a matter of time before Trump claims he never met Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Trump reportedly asked Guilfoyle to resign after a series of damaging reports about her conduct before and during her time in Athens hit the headlines.
Guilfoyle took to Xitter to announce her departure, lavishing praise on Marco Rubio and Donald J. Trump while denying the reports. Trump, however, wasn't returning the love. Instead, he quickly distanced himself from his former almost-daughter-in-law.
“No, she wasn’t a member of my family,” Trump told reporters. “She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago.”
* A long time ago? * Don Jr. and Guilfoyle got engaged in 2020 and remained together for nearly seven years before splitting in late 2024. They even bought a $9.7 million, 11,200-square-foot waterfront mansion together. Guilfoyle was also a regular presence at Trump campaign events.
After the election, Trump nominated her to serve as U.S. ambassador to Greece.
