Turin Brakes are new to me. My friends at The Louisiana in Bristol turned me on them a couple weeks ago, as they are playing a gig there tomorrow. From what I understand, they represent a new wave of Folk-oriented bands that have been springing up around the UK the last few years.

This track, Dark On Fire is from their 2007 album. As always, check out their MySpace page and see what they're up to. In the meanwhile, here's a taste of what sounds really promising.

It has Sunday night written all over it.
