Back to mellow this Sunday night. It's raining in L.A. and it promises to be a long one - perfect weather to put on a stack of discs and go exploring. Hal McKusick popped up - this 1955 session features McKusick on alto sax and clarinet, Barry Galbraith on guitar, Osie Johnson, drums and Milt Hinton, bass.

This track, Lullaby For Leslie comes from the Bethlehem East Coast Jazz Series #8 (that's the cover up there).
