Pop Will Eat Itself have been around, in one form or another since roughly 1986 . . .1981 if you consider their first incarnation as From Eden. PWEI, or Poppies have undergone several changes, both in personnel and style. Initially breaking up in 1996 and reforming in 2005 and reforming again in 2010 with only one member, Graham Crabb, from the original lineup. Tonights track, Mask, is off their newest album, New Noise Designed By A Sadist, released just a few days ago and available through Cooking Vinyl Records. There is rumor of a tour starting up right about now.
In the meantime, here's a taste of something new.
