Sean Hannity is already coming to the defense of Alan Dershowitz prior to the upcoming release of 150 names of people mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein lawsuit documents. It's a sad day in America when wingnut Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn is looking like the sane one here.

“Any day now, hundreds of court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein will be made public. Now the unsealed records will include more than 150 names of individuals who had ties to the convicted pedophile,” declared Hannity on his show, adding that he had reached out to former President Bill Clinton – “one of many prominent names expected to appear in the court filings” – for comment.

After being introduced to the show to discuss Epstein’s list, Blackburn noted, “This is not a list that anyone wants their name to be on.”

She continued:

There are going to be people there on this list that are accused of wrongdoing, there are going to be those on the list who are accusing Epstein and Maxwell of wrongdoing, and there will be people that were witnesses to some of this activity but did not report that activity.

So I’m certain that Bill Clinton and other people are very nervous. They don’t want to be on this list, there are people that are going to be ashamed if they are, and he is probably one of them.

Hannity then launched straight into a defense of Dershowitz, telling viewers:

The only one I can think of that might be on the list is Alan Dershowitz, who was an attorney. Everybody has a right to counsel. He did have charges brought up against him, and he’s been adamant in his denial of any wrongdoing or any knowledge of even things that have happened there.

Good for Blackburn, who like her fellow Republican Tim Burchett has been pushing for the release of the flight logs.

Shame on her and on Hannity for not mentioning the name Trump during the segment. We'll see if his name turns up on the list when it's released this week as well as the ones they want to talk about like Bill Clinton.

I say let the chips fall where they may. I don't think you're going to see any Democrats defending sex traffickers on the left like we just saw from Hannity on the right any time soon. We'd all prefer not to be defending horny old men taking advantage of minors and using their wealth and privilege to do it.
