Newsweek’s managing editor John Meacham, agreed with Bill O'Reilly that there is a war on religion. I'm not sure if Meacham knew the segment would begin with a picture of an Easter Bunny when he joined Bill. Meacham writes many religious pieces, but for him to believe that there is an actual war going on is troubling.

Meacham: The secular battle against Christmas, against Easter, against those kinds of things that you're talking about-against "Under God" in the pledge..

O'Reilly: You don't deny that battle is taking place?

Meacham: No...

O'Reilly is paving the way to build up support for the new book he's working on called " Culture Warrior," and it was sad to see Meacham get caught up in this particular conspiracy theory. I've always celebrated Easter and have had a lot of fun with kids and Easter egg hunts. Has O'Reilly dug up proof that the ACLU is planning to sue or outlaw those hunts? Will the Easter Bunny be banned in California? Will Meacham be at the forefront? Stay tuned for more....
