Ennio Morricone is an Italian composer who has worked on over 500 film scores. His best-known are for "spaghetti westerns" like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars and tonight's feature, For A Few Dollars More. Last year he won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oscars. In 2001 I was still working at Reprise when we thought to collaborate with Morricone on a remix collection. This track, produced by the German band Terranova, was a personal favorite of mine. Even if you've never heard of Ennio Morricone, I guarantee you you'll recognize the song.
