Groundhog Day: Punxsutawney Phil, Staten Island Chuck Call For 6 More Weeks Of Winter

Staten Island Chuck and Punxsutawney Phil each predicted six more weeks of winter during separate ceremonies this morning.

During a ceremony at dawn at New York's Staten Island Zoo featuring Mayor Bill DeBlasio, Chuck saw his shawdow.

DeBlasiso's predecessor, Michael Bloomberg, was bitten by Staten Island Chuck in 2009 so DeBlasio wore oversized protective gloves. At one during this morning's ceremony, Chuck shimmied out of his hand and fell to the ground.
