Remains Of The Day...

I've had a wonderful time posting links to some of the best writers on the Internet for you. I thank you for taking the time to read my selections, and I wish for you the happiest and best Holiday Season, and a safe, healthful, and prosperous New Year.

Here are some of the best of the week that didn't fit into my themed postings. I hope you find them satisfying.

First, Spocko's Brain has finished a multi-part expose on America's failed Media experiment in the context of "The Newsroom." I found it highly captivating.

Next, Capt. Fogg at The Reaction has been wrestling with the same dark thoughts that I have been, in "Why Go On?"

Ramona's Voices continues the discussion of the shame of US Torture policy.

And finally, Gin And Tacos has an extraordinary piece I remember from my youth growing up in Southeast Michigan, by Late, great Detroit News 7 reporter, Bill Bonds, on gun control and the death of John Lennon. "These Damn Guns" was prophetic. I hope you'll watch this.
