Whole Foods Feeds National Guard, Lets Hungry Kids In Baltimore Stay Hungry
April 30, 2015

Whole Foods CEO John Markey is the guy who hates Obamacare and believes wholeheartedly in "conscious capitalism."

He's also a shining example of why the conservative utopia where private charities and businesses help people in need is such a lie.

On Tuesday, Whole Foods used their Baltimore presence to "make sandwiches for the men and women keeping us safe." They featured a nice picture of the nice people in their fatigues and gear getting a nice big helping of Whole Foods.

Meanwhile, the poorest children in Baltimore went hungry on Tuesday, because 84 percent of them qualify for free lunches which they didn't get because schools were closed. It might have been nice for them to receive a gift of food, too.

That's too kind. It's a perfect example of selective charity. Give to the guys you like and screw the rest.
