C&L's Late Nite Music Club With Los Zafiros

Tonight's Music Club is going to feature some Cuban doo-wop.

During the rise of the filín movement in the early '60s, a lot of groups like Los Zafiros modeled themselves after U.S. doo-wop close-harmony ensembles. Filín comes from a Spanish pronunciation of "feeling," which describes a type of post-microphone, jazz-influenced, romantic song. Whatever that means is up to you. In the meantime, take a moment to listen to the smooth, harmonic sounds of Los Zafiros.

What are you listening to tonight?
