Right Wing Free Speech Advocates Rip GOP Consultant For Nasty Coulter Tweet
August 19, 2015

I love it when they turn on themselves and start eating their own, don't you?

Evidently Republican consultant Rick Wilson is now one of the Untouchables after a pretty nasty exchange with Ann Coulter. Here it is, via Raw Story:

Wilson apologized, but it's too late for him, I think.

Other conservatives accused him of using the girl as a political prop to avoid criticism. Wilson later deleted his insult against Coulter and said Breitbart was not responsible for the threatening message.

Coulter later said that Wilson’s “only remaining move is to use the Anthony Weiner ‘MY TWITTER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED!’ defense.”

Wilson did not do that, but did apologize to family and friends for his response to Coulter’s remark, which he called “vile.”

“I reduced myself by dropping to her level,” he wrote. “My comment was shocking to many of you, and for that I offer a sincere apology.”

The real lesson here is that conservatives will not put up with anyone attacking Donald Trump. They've been gunning for Wilson for awhile. In July, he made an appearance on CNN to criticize Trump as someone who is conning conservatives.

Breitbots really, really don't want their guy (Trump) in the crossfire, and they will verbally assault anyone who gets between them and their hero.
