Tonight C&L's Chiller Theater brings you Bert I. Gordon's Earth vs The Spider. He's the master at setting loose giant whatchamacallits on the people of earth.

I plan to screen more of his work in the future, but I always had a fondness for this particular movie as a kid. Maybe it was the fact that Gordon didn't waste anytime revealing the giant spider after some teenagers fell into it's web that I loved so much. Maybe it was because it sounded like our arachnid friend suffered from a severe case of asthma. Or maybe it simply was the rock and roll.
