C&L's Late Nite Music Club With The Selecter

Just another day with that endless grey drone

For all us working stiff feeling that Tuesday lag BIG TIME today. The sound is upbeat, the message is not. It will make you think about dancing when biting your tongue around the boss and their lackey though.

The Selecter's debut album "Too Much Pressure" was released on this day, February 23rd, in 1980. This evening I bring you the song that started off the album (Well, the proper English release on Two Tone label that is) and as a single went to #16 on the UK charts.

What are you listening to tonight?

Can you help us out?

For 16 years we have been exposing Washington lies and untangling media deceit. We work 7 days a week, 16 hours a day for our labor of love, but with rising hosting and associated costs, we need your help! Could you donate $21 for 2021? Please consider a one-time or recurring donation of whatever amount you can spare, or consider subscribing for an ad-free experience. It will be greatly appreciated and help us continue our mission of exposing the real FAKE NEWS!
