Both Tony Allen and Jeff Mills are architects of the beat. Tony was the longtime drummer for Fela Kuti and one of the inventors of Afrobeat. For Jeff, it was first as dj'ing around Detroit as "The Wizard" in the early 1980's and then co-founded Underground Resistance.

The two collaborating together is earthy and cosmic.
