One her first new album in five years, Sharon Van Etten steps away a bit from her usual indie-folk singer/songwriter sound.

Working with St. Vincent producer John Congleton and citing acts such as Suicide and Portishead for inspirations for the album, Remind Me Tomorrow may take fans aback slightly at first listen, but synths don't overshadow her knack for writing compelling songs.
