Cramer Clobbers Bartiromo's Take On Infrastructure Deal
The North Dakota Senator got Bartiromo to admit there is tremendous support for the legislation by both Republicans and Democrats, with a side of shade to Traitor Trump, as well.
North Dakota Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer very calmly slapped down Maria Bartiromo's whiny complaints about his support for the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Bartiromo, a Trump sycophant to the max, opened up with the Wall Street Journal opinion piece claiming Republicans supporting this deal are traitors to the GOP.
"I like Kim Strassel, but she's very, very, very wrong on this one," Sen. Cramer replied.
Bartiromo was outraged. "Wrong?" she exploded.
Maria then listed major pieces of the legislation that she dislikes, and added the lie that this infrastructure bill is a prequel to the Green New Deal, which Republicans hate because their major donors do.
Cramer calmly explained why he supports the bill in a tone that seemed to unnerve Maria Bartiromo — a tone that used the strategy of making sense instead of hyperbolic conspiracy theories.
He said that he doesn't support all the things in the bill, but they have a 50-50 Senate, so one has to negotiate.
“All of those other things that you referenced aren’t exclusively Democratic principles. Some of those things that contribute to the overall infrastructure of our country and this is all hard infrastructure, Maria."
He continued, "You might argue with some of it. I don’t like the electric vehicle charging stations, for example, if I was king I wouldn’t support that, but fortunately our founders gave us something other than a king.”
Republicans do want a king actually.
Of course, Bartiromo then brought up the former seditious ex-president's complaints about the legislation.
Coolly and with no effort at all, Cramer bashed Trump, "Well he didn't give one reason why it's a bad deal other than its Joe Biden's."
"The fact of the matter is, the American public, including the vast majority of Republicans, are very supportive of this."
Sen. Cramer then listed all the people and organizations that support the bill.
"We need roads and bridges," he said.
It forced Bartiromo to recognize there's a ton of support from the country on this bill, even from Republicans.
"There's a lot of support for this, on both sides, definitely a lot of support, I get that," and then she moved on.
See how easy it is to pwn a Republican propaganda shill?
