Tiny Tucker is riling up the troops for an electoral loss, which kind of tells me Democrats are probably going to do as well as we hoped. Via Media Matters:

Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s closing argument as the midterms approach is that if Democrats aren’t wiped out, his viewers should interpret the election results as a sign of widespread election fraud by President Joe Biden’s “cabal.” His baseless, conspiratorial claims buttress a widespread right-wing campaign to delegitimize elections in which Republicans lose.

Carlson opened his show on Wednesday by declaring that “the conventional view among people who follow politics is that the Democratic Party is about to suffer a humiliating repudiation in next week's midterm elections.” Carlson predicted that “Democrats will lose both houses of Congress” as well as races like New York’s governorship in a “realignment” election that is happening because “Democrats failed, conclusively.”

“In a country with democratic elections, how could this party stay in power?” Carlson asked. “Honestly, we don't know, but maybe Joe Biden does.” The Fox host then aired a clip from Biden’s speech that night, in which Biden said, “Extreme MAGA Republicans aim to question not only the legitimacy of past elections, but elections being held now and into the future.”
