Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert provide the best news coverage. Here they are talking about *'s trip to Ohio on Wednesday:

Jimmy Kimmel, (above beginning at the 9:25 mark):

KIMMEL: Junior was on the road with Daddy in East Palestine, Ohio today. He thought they were going to negotiate peace with Israel but that's Jared's job. The Dons were where the train carrying toxic chemicals derailed a few weeks ago. The right Wingers have been attacking Biden for going to Ukraine instead of going to Ohio, and while on the scene Maga Teresa bragged about a number of things, including a shipment of water he brought for them. "We're bringing thousands of bottles of water, Trump water -- actually most of it some of it we had to go to a much lesser Quality Water." You want to get those Trump bottles I think more than anybody else right? You know it's not every day you get to see a train wreck talking about a train wreck.
[Applause] After his speech, it was off to a local McDonald's, where the scam burglar passed out some of his finest swag. "You know what we'll do here this is for you I like that one but this one's even nicer.
Okay, it's more expensive. I can tell you this is triple the price of that one. Right yeah. Thank you Bob. Come here folks. Thank you." It's going to be a long campaign.
The Mad Hatter he's been running, like, for I think officially for more than two months now and it's not going great. A number of his former supporters and staffers are either running or planning to run against him. His legal bills are mounting, Ron DeSantis is looming, and a new poll says a majority of Republicans believe the GOP has a better chance of winning back the White House with someone other than Donald Trump. And yet with all that wind at his front, Donald Quijote continues to dream that Impossible Dream.

And then Kimmel plays a lovely parody of Don Quixote's "Dream the Impossible Dream."

Colbert also joined in the fun:

COLBERT: “This trip for him, it’s a little awkward, because he’s visiting after having cut rail regulations as president. Or as a “Philadelphia inquirer” op-ed put it, the ex-president will return to the scene of his crime. Yeah. It’s a little awkward. A little awkward. That easy. This may be a surprise to you, the former president was not just in Ohio out of the goodness of his heart. You see, his 2024 presidential run has gotten off to a rocky start, struggling to generate excitement. So, he viewed the visit as a major campaign event. So, it’s fitting to restart his campaign in East Palestine. Because much like the fish there, it’s dead in the water.”
