Conservatives who claim to hate fake news are the biggest propagators of fake news. Talking Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is one of those people. Kirk seems to think the media has ignored the massive 150-car freight train carrying hazardous chemicals and other materials that derailed in the town of East Palestine, Ohio, forcing hundreds of residents to evacuate the area for several days. It's all over the news. It's a pretty big deal.
But Kirk claimed that it is part of a "war on white people" and said, "I have been warning about this crusade against white people."
Stop holding the white people down, you guys. It upsets Charles.
"Not a single member of the Biden regime would dare to go to this portion of Ohio and breathe in the air because they know it's dangerous," he said, according to Media Matters. "They know that it is actively poisoning the citizens of eastern Ohio. So, why is it that they kind of shrug their shoulders and they say, yeah, okay, whatever? It's very simple. It's because the war on white people continues. Why would you care for the white working-class voters in eastern Ohio? You haven't cared about them in other reasons or other portions."
"And I will prove it to you. If this train derailment happened in downtown Atlanta in the densely populated Black neighborhoods, this would be the number one news story," he added. "It would be Flint water crisis 2.0. There would be clamoring and activism and talks for reparations. And Buttigieg, meanwhile, is out there saying, listen -- while this derailment is happening, while the act of poisoning is happening, he's saying, look, the problem is that workers are too white."
As if Kirk gave one single shit about the residents of Flint. However, a guy has ignored the derailment, and Charlie should give him a good talking to.
It took Ohio GOP Senator J.D. Vance ten days to issue a statement about the derailment in his own state. Go get him, Charlie.
