No one is surprised that Donald Trump Jr. used his time at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to go full ableist on Sen. John Fetterman. Junior learned a lot from his sleazy father, who mocked a physically disabled reporter on the campaign trail.
"It is weird that Pennsylvania managed to elect a vegetable," Junior said. They criticize me as being ableist. I didn't know what that was. But there's always an 'ist.' It doesn't matter what you're talking about. And apparently, an ableist is someone who discriminates against those with disabilities."
"I'd love for John Fetterman to have, like, good gainful employment. Maybe he could be, like, a bag guy at a grocery store," he continued. "But, like, is it unreasonable for me to expect, as a citizen of the United States of America, to have a United States senator have basic cognitive functions?"
"Why should a united states senator be held to a different standard than the president of the united states himself?" he added. "We have to fix all of that."
When Junior's father was president, to prove that his mental acuity should not be questioned, he told of a test he took when he had to remember the words, 'Person Woman Man Camera TV' in order. Trump bragged about that afterward. He bragged about remembering five words.
And for that cokehead to suggest that disabled individuals can only bag groceries for a living is disgusting. Hey, there are zero things wrong with that job. Grocery store employees were our front-line workers. But it's Junior who thinks that people that do that job are somehow not as important as everyone else. On a positive note, there weren't many people in the audience.
