Trump kicked off his campaign rally the other day by paying tribute to the domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol on Jan 6th. It was despicable and incredibly eerie, as he played an anthem while standing at attention, all while showing scenes from their attack on a large screen.
It was classic psychological manipulation. Something right out of "1984," not to mention Mussolini, Milosevic, Mao, Suharto, Stalin, Amin or any of the worst, most manipulative totalitarian tyrants in world history. Trump--and his allies like Marge Three Toes--are trying to launder January 6th into something noble. And most of the press will allow him to do it if we don't constantly remind them of the truth.
